Winter Shield 1 8th November 1800-2200
The first leg of Ramsey Angling Clubs winter season got off to a flyer with some big bags of fish showing. First on the night was north pier veteran Paul Graham with a huge bag of 32 dogfish and 7 sizable whiting for 2810 points, second was John Senogles the only other man to venture to the north pier, with 20 dogs and 3 whiting for 1695 points and third fishing from in front of the Grand Island was Andrew Dugdale with 18 dogs and 6 whiting for 1618 points.
It was good to see a couple of new members join the club and one was rewarded with his first pool, Leon Henerys bass of 2lb 7oz took the first pool and Colin Quayle who’s never far away from the money took the second with a 2lb 2oz dogfish. The mystery pairs were won by Paul Graham and George Dugdale.
The second leg of the Winter Shield is on the 22nd November new members will be welcomed.
